I'm 6'4" will I fit into the book chassis or do I need to extend?
Mate is 6ft3 - he fits in fine...
They are longer than you think ;-)
Only 'CONSIDERATION' is getter a Taller 'ROLL BAR'
The standard sized Roll Bar will probably be too low.
Roll Bar should be above your head for obvious reasons

I hadn't thought of that.
Choice of seats, pedal box type and position, steering wheel size and inside leg measurement all have an influence, long legs are more difficult to
accommodate than a long body!

Depends if you a 6'4" fat bastard or not.
Cheers,
Bob
Fat Ba***rds fit - it just means you don't rattle around.
Long legs are more difficult to accomodate.
As is a long back, come to think of it. I'm longer in the back than the legs and it meant I looked over the top of the screen with the seat in
the car. Remove seat - job done. So - if you're 6'2" and generously proportioned like me, remove the seat and fit snuggly into the car.
I,m only 6'1" but i'm a fat bas***d and i fit the Mk chassis..... Just well atleast i wont fall out.

Will a cushion instead of a drivers seat pass SVA then Zilspeed.
Cheers,
Bob
Any reason that a bench style seat (as per Ron's book) would fail SVA? With a bit of foam scultping to fit your bum I reckon you could make it quite comfy. They give loads of room as well.
I am planning bench seat arrangement for mine with padding on the outside and the tunnel at the hips. I have a Crapi axle and only 14" width on
the driver's side!
