hi all im very new to this im building my first locost chassis from the book its standerd could any one tell me the measurements of fu1 and fu2 and
where i can measure from to make sure there right everything else has gone to plan so far just stuck here thanks

It gives you the measurements in the book, 12"(305mm) with a 19 degree angle.

Do you mean the measurement of FU1 and FU2 or the placement on the chassis, if it's the chassis they are in line with E which is 9.4" back
from the front edge of F1 and F2.
Which edition book are you working from?
Do a search on FU1 and FU2. They ain't called that for nothing as you will see. For FU's sake don't weld them solid until your1000000000000000000000000%sure they are where you need them to be. Oh and finally the book tells lies (sometimes)
hi again yes its the placement on the chassis i could not find so there in line with e but is there a measurement for the top where they join j1and j2 or are they just upright. and is it 19 degrees off e thanks very much mate
Looking side on to the chassis they are at 90 degrees from F1 & 2 (upright), the 19 degree angle is so they meet up with J1 & 2.

The measures in the book are not easy to understand and wrong. If you pace the FUs according to the book the suspension brackets will not line up
correctly. I advice you to leave the FUs out completely until you do the suspension brackets.

There are also a few other mistakes with the book, most some of which you'll have come across if you're this far through the chassis. It's worth taking a good look at any measurements before implicitly following them.
