hi ive been thinking of building my own chassis to my own design. but when it comes to the sva do they have to test your chassis first or do they test
it as a whole. or what do you need to do to make it road legal. what tests did the locost chassis get to make it road legal
does it have to go through things like crash testing or anything like that thanks adam

No crash testing at all !
They just do a visual inspection to check quality of welding and seat belt mounts etc.
No it has be fully built and then tested to destruction!!!

Only joking, no crash tests, no calculations just the SVA test. How lucky we are.
