I'm using Protech alloy units on the MEV ROCKET. They are 12" between mount hole centres when fully extended. See Which kit car mag out next week for pics of the Rocket rear suspension, regards Stig Mills

Nice answer Stig...

Only I'm struggling to see the relevance between the MEV Rocket and a Locost.

You wouldn't be just trying to plug the Rocket article in a kit car mag would you?

I bet not many people on here actually read that mag anyway.

I like to try and assist anyone trying something different. The mag article details geometry and suspesion set up. I reckon it's worth a read. Regards Stig

The shock lengths depend on whether you have live axle/dedion or IRS at the back.

Dedion/live axle generally uses shorter shocks than IRS cars.

My shocks were 12" front and 11.5" rear. With a de dion rear axle.
