Does any one have any good clear pics of bike engine cradles. Im going to be fitting a xjr1300 engine to a mongoose (middy) and just want to get some ideas.

Thanks.

Isn't the xjr1300 air cooled? no use in a mid engined car

Just like the Porsche 917?
Or umpteen other cars I can think of that didn't work either I suppose

Porshe spend millions of pounds to get these things to work, for a start the thing will need to be entirly enclosed with powerful fans blasting as much cool air as possible

I'm not saying it couldn't be made work but isn't it easier using a liquid cooled engine?

Cheers
David

The XJR1300 is oil and air cooled. it will be fitted with a much bigger oil cooler. The engine will be fairly exposed but will have additional scoops to direct air to the engine also.
