I am fiting a Toyota 4AGE 20v with the w55 box and want to get the whole thing further back 150mm so I need to cut out the section marked "Q" in the book chassis how should I do this?
thats quite an important tube, why do you need the engine so far back?]
you would have to brace P to make up for it. Work out what has to go, fit the engine, and see what you can add to make up for it.

./
what about making the middle of Q into an X between the tops of the H tubes and P?
you still don't get a straight load path, as you would with Q, but from a 'looking at it' point of view, it would appear to work.

Can i ask if its such an important tube, that Mac #1 see fit to split is right in the middle and effectively have two at the ends of each footwell ?
