I'm looking for a measurement please.

How far out is the centre of the headlamp mount normally? For those which are welded onto the chassis Like MK etc.

You need to make it so that the outer edge of the lens is no more than 400mm from the outer most point of the car.

You can work it out from that.

On my Indy, the centre hole for the headlamp mount is 5 inches from the outside edge of the top chassis rail. Hope that helps.

Remember that the 400mm is from the widest part of the car and that could be your rear wheel arches.
If you measure them too tight on the front cycle wings, you could find Mr sva failing you.
