i think it was westfield that ive seen a chassis out of alloy but has anyone on here made theres out of it. any pics and how thick is the plate for
the brackets that you have used.

Pretty sure DENEO has made his from aluminium, drop him a line.
i was just thinking alloy because we have loads at work that was ordered but never used so it would be free. i wonder who that was lol .

Long term, I wouldn't build an aluminium tube chassis as it will be prone to fractures. The only design I would consider using aluminium is a
monocoque design like the Robin hood.
Just take a look at Elise/Renault spyder etc.

i was looking at building a single seater like yours but all folded out of sheet with the seat built in to the chassis. but i cant find any drawing for the front susenpsion or anything to go on. so iam just thinking of ideas what to do.
