FUEL PIPE ROUTE

hi folks.......

are there any restrictions as to where i can run my fuel pipe....e.g. how close it is to the diff...cos its tight at the rear bulkhead

anyone got any pics of chosen route..

I havnt seen anything in the sva manual covering fuel pipe routing.

I think the examiner will look for common sense - away from heat sources, and entrapments or friction. Fix it at no more than 300mm intervals.

ok..thanks for that... what id hoped to hear,

was considering running it through the diff mounting bracket...but didnt do that cos it looked wrong..
when i dont run it through the bracket and position it beside it, that takes it too close(in my opinion) to the diff though..

or should i take it under the bracket.....

hmmm.....all opinions welcome.......

Mine IS routed thro a 'triangular' aperture behind the diff mounting bracket, which is just behind the bulkhead. The gap is about 1 inch wide. There are no sharp edges, or moving parts, and the pipes dont contact the diff at all.

I have been told by Ben who has a locosaki stuart taylor that his sierra diff gets quite hot.

thats the route i am on about that i tried first and didnt look right...
as you say this plenty of room taking this route...just wasnt sure about it
