Is there any different in track width between the cortina and sierra uprights?

If I have cortina front end setup and replaced with the sierra upright with the track be the same??

Also can the escort steering rack fit the sierra upright.

Thanks

You cannot use the Sierra upright with the Cortina suspension.

Having looked at the suspension brackets layout for both uprights I can't see any issues in using one or the other.

The bottom wishbone is angled to 8 degrees on the sierra and not on the cortina when using the maxi joint, just wondering if the sierra is wider or narrower in its track??

Cheers

KPI would be different. Cortina uprights weigh less than sierra. They can be got and if you are worrying about the cost you will end up spending a lot more later that you weren't expecting to! I have just placed an order with Raldes for over £110 for stuff I didn't think about let alone knew I would have to pay for One expense is a new speedo as I cannot route the mechanical speedo cable between the box and the dial ! i didn't realise the problem until just about everything else on the dash was done

Little bits are the real killer on a locost budget!

If you use the Haynes version of the book for the Sierra and the original book for the Cortina FS then I think you will find your answer.

Track for the front is about the same but, you cannot mix designs
