Today I tacked all of the crossbraces in place. The chassis is far from finished, but all that is left are brackets to mount things like the pedals
and roll bar.
I would say that the chassis is now 90% complete.

i'm thinking I may be watching the begining of a very nice kitcar business.....
looks great!
Do you not have a job?
You make more progress on yours in a day than i do with mine in a week
Guys, it looks quick progress but takes planning.
Although it "flew" together in abot 2 1/2 days, it took 6 weeks just to get the side rails made.
I also made the front and rear subframes some weeks ago.
Maybe a dumb question but how do you keep the steel so shiny - or is it SS?

Thats really starting to come together now, well impressed
Do you intend to sell plans, or chassis/kits when finished?
Cheers
Alex
PS
And as usual it makes my own progress seem snail like in comparison
Don't feel so bad about slow progress as long as you finish. It is just that now I have a few things that have come together at the same time.
That is time and money (which is a rare combination).
I also worked for 5 years as a welder so I have a bit of fabrication knowledge behind me.
So you don't feel too bad, my F1-2 took 7 years from start to finish (very little money)
Just keep going and you will get there!
