hi do you need to change the width of the front wishbones to suit the sierra rear. if so what size do you make them.

Yes, but you need to measure the distance between hub faces on Sierra IRS, then position front hubs in correct position and calculate wishbone length.

It'll depend on whether you are building book width, one of the many variants or your own spec - mine is +4"

I didn't measure anything, just bought standard bones for front and have narrower front track. I may make some "correct" length one some day, but they work fine as they are.

The Avon has a narrower front track as well.

I'd leave it ffor now and see what it's like.

I'm sure it will be fine.

You can always make longer front bones later.

We made our wishbones 50mm longer on each side to match the rear. Most cars with a "wide track wishbones" seem to be about this length. Please note the chassis has never had 4 wheels fitted at the same time so i could be talking total bo*****s

I have a cortina rear axle on my book locost and that is wider than the escort one my front track is narrower than the back but its staying like that for now I think it looks better we will see how it drives!
