Is it necessary?

Looking at most (production) convertibles (apart from the german ones - which fall over), none seem to be fitted with anything.

Just thinking aloud BTW.

I guess it depends if you like the idea of your bonce applied as a thin film to the road...
I'd have something at least, they look good too.

i was thinking of posting that very question, cos im lazy and cant be arsed making the short one i'd need (the chassis on mine at the back comes up to a few inches below shoulder height).

but i guessed everyone would just say it was a good idea!

whilst we're on the subject, does anyone know where to get custom ones made? ta...
