Anybody know of anyone in Sheffield/Rotherham/Doncaster area that can put 2x 90 degree bends in 38.1mm (1.5" tube/pipe. I have tried both
MK's & they haven't the correct former, I have a hydraulic bender but again not the correct former so all it does is kink it.
Alan...
Alan,
As it's two separte pieces and quite thin, I'm assuming it not for a roll bar.
If so, then could you not buy some preformed bends from Milner Offroad or similar.

Try filling with sand after first capping one end with steel plate then blanking the other end with a lump of wood or something then heat and
bend....use kids play sand though as less muck in it.
Cheers,

If so, find a friendly plumber and use 19mm 16swg

You could try one of the stainless exhaust places, they all have heavy duty pipe benders with dies for various size pipe, there is one near the Sheffield arena, another one (Top Gear ) at Scawsby Doncaster

If you want to travel a bit there are a couple in Matlock/Darley Dale area that build 4x4 chassis and will do one offs if they have the right size die fitted.
