f27 chassis

can anybody tell me where to find some pictures of a f27chassis. i have recently bought a chassis that is claimed to be a f27 but i'm unsure about its origin also does anybody know if there is a owners club website

there are a few guys on here with them and photo archives on there profiles.

try posting a few pics and I'm sure someone will confirm.

they are quite distinct i believe

Gregf27 has one, i used to have one, there are a few others on here too.

Post some pics and we will be able to identify it no doubt, maybe also tell you what mods its had too.

The old F27 chassis design was very distinctive, it had leading arm suspension on the rear axle rather than the trailing arm of most other live axle 7 clones.

mine is the original plan built chassis and if i remember I could scan a page showing it in its full glory if you want.

The rocking arm front suspension is the most distinctive feature. Rear depends on axle set-up.
As well as others on here westf27 has some good pics.
