Camber Adjusters on Ebay
Dave Bailey - 21/7/08 at 09:39 PM

Has anyone used the camber adjusters sold on Ebay? I am trying to find out if these can be used with a std pair of front wishbones? The threads in my wishbones are a little loose and I am concerned about this and using these sleeves would mean that I could drill out the treads and at the same time have adjustment. I have sierra hubs and suspect that I will have to change the top joints?

Just noticed these are sold by Rally Design also but suggests they are Oval?

thanks
Dave B

Yep they are the ones!

Ok you will need to make new bones. Worth doing IMHO as they make adjustment hugely easier and you can get the sdjustment spot on - not just to the nearest thread.

Should work ok with the standard Transit draglink and Mushroom in sierra upright top joint.

Cheers

Pitty I have two packed my top wishbones.....And they look the biz!

So what diameter tubes do I need to be on the top bones?

Not sure but here's a pic pinched from Hellfires site of the finished article

Hi Chris,

Mine didn't show any wear at all, they only move when you are actually adjusting them and the rest of the time they are locked in place with the usual locknuts. they are a nice fit in the bones and turn easily when adjusting - I never had one move when it wasn't supposed to

From an ease of adjustment point of view they are really good, I don't know if they are available in different sizes but they would work well with rose joints I would have thought.

Cheers

Mark

Mark, sorry if I have missed the point , but do you know if these can be used on standard MK Indy set up, or do I need new bones made up too, if I was to use them?
Cheers
Craig

ahhh the magic of search, I believe that I have to get to get new top bones.
