POR-15 - 1 coat or 2 ?

I've just finished a long paint job using POR-15. A lot of work prepping etc but the finish that stuff gives is superb.

As it looks now the thing looks fine, but have people used a second coat? If so, does it retain that "powder-coated" look? As the paint is quite thick I was trying to avoid that "heavily painted" look that a second coat might give? (Plus is meants I dont have to buy a second tin!)

Just a quick note, the paint seems to hate low temperatures. My first trials a few days back on the wishbones in a cold garage meant I got a crap finish and the paint took 2 days to dry. So I heated the garage (and provided a fair bit of humidity from boiling water!) and it goes on great.

If you've got a decent coating then I wouldn't bother with a second coat - it's thick old stuff. Also, when I tried to patch up a few bits I missed on my roll bar it got quite 'draggy', if you know what I mean. The finish was still good, but I don't think that I want to do the whole thing!

Mind you, I did rub it down and sprayed it with satin black, so it did get a second coat - just not the same paint!
