the indy and the book frame is there any difference in the width of them?

ned - 5/1/04 at 01:10 PM

no.

stephen_gusterson - 5/1/04 at 02:30 PM

yes

theconrodkid - 5/1/04 at 02:42 PM

yup your out voted ned

ned - 5/1/04 at 03:34 PM

in the width of the frame there isn't. we measured the cockpit area and it is identical (conrod's car vs stevem's book chassis as in "the book".

width of track is different (escort vs sierra) and height of frame is +1" on mk to allow taller engines.

next please.

Ned.

so why have i got a lot of extra room in this car over my previous,or could it be i need to eat more?

GO - 5/1/04 at 03:54 PM

Never sat in one but I thought the indy had more "arse space"??

stephen_gusterson - 5/1/04 at 05:03 PM

isnt 'the book' 42 ins wide......therefore the Indy must be 42 ins if Ned is correct......

Tunnel narrower?
No need for a wide tunnel for a live axle when you've got a fixed diff IRS Indy?

Just a guess!

But Martin himself told me it was same basic dimensions.

Cheers,
