Im sure this was on before some time back ive searched selling and receipt..
Has anyone sold their car and made some kind of receipt up with I guess "sold as seen" and any other important words that I could copy?
or useful advice in that direction. Ive had a few people looking at my kit and am not sure what to do about that side of things.
Just put the Reg, Date and Time and Sold as seen on the receipt, though this might unsettle the buyer as it suggests theres something you know, that
they dont.
The V5C does the rest in terms of transfer of ownership.
I wouldnt get too worried about a receipt unless they asked for one.
When i was in the trade we always wrote "Bought as seen tried and tested" after the car details etc, on the receipt. As instructed by the
boss man for the cheaper cars.

The only thing to watch out for is that "sold as seen" doesn't actually mean anything. Even applies to private sales.
