You have probably seen I am trying to find some tube to make my suspension wishbone eye tubes from (wanted section).

I am I right in thinking that 16G 1 3/8 OD ERW tube equates to 34mm OD with a 2mm wall thickness ?

because I just found this

nope...16g is about 1.6mm

1 3/8" = 34.95mm diameter. 16 SWG is 1.63mm ID is therefore 31.69mm
