Thoughts go with her family and friends.
Our Condolences to the family and our thoughts are with both family and Friends. Sad indeed.
so sad thoughts are with family so young
OMG, 27 is no age at all. That is so sad.
Sad news indeed
My thoughts to her family & friends
I just spotted it on the BBC news and was going to link it here but too slow.
Sad news
a reminder that motor sports can bite, take it easy out there
Bad times. Thoughts for her family and friends.
Yes very sad RIP
Jacko
awful news RIP young one.
Very sad news.
Goodwood is the only circuit that's ever scared me. Very fast and little or no run-offs.
r.i.p . Our thoughts are with the family of this lady doing something she loved
I was competing....this will give you an idea of the conditions. I put the car back on the trailer after first practise and watching a succession of
cars coming back on low loaders. We also had a Golf dropping oil in one of the first runs. Very sad news about Sandra, the meeting was abandoned as
you would expect.

makes your stomach go a bit funny when you see it on the news.
My thoughts to the family.
xx
Very sad news It's only when an incident occurs that you realise how rare major injuries are in motorsport these days.
The decision was made at Wiscombe this morning not to run, and I don't think anyone would have argued. There were 2 major incidents on Saturday
with cars that will never see the road again and many that narrowly escaped major damage (including my dad). Luckily no one was seriously injured.
Any words I write wont come out right, RIP Sandra.
terribly sad news, RIP
My condolences to the friends and family 27 is no age
I believe the lady concerned was 37 rather than 27, I think the BBC has it wrong.

From other reports, it does seem she was 37, and her "Caterham" type car was actually a Caterham...
Looks like the conditions were not the best, surprised the meeting wasn't cancelled after the crash
According to a certain rag her husband actually witnessed the accident as he was competing as well. I can only imagine how he is feeling
Just to clarify a few points...
The car was a Caterham and was being double-driven (husband and wife)
There where a number of big offs before this but nobody else was injured.
The 'oil' in the video is in fact fuel from the Golf

I got picked for drive by noise but I had already decided that I would push too hard come the timed runs so put it back on the trailer. I was running
Avon ZZRs which handled the weather pretty well considering, especially as I was doing 120 in places while shaking my head and drive like your
Granny.
The meeting was abandoned after the incident involving the Caterham.
As to if it should have been cancelled before....easy decision in hindsight and I'm sure the organisers are asking that themselves every moment
of every day since. But, if I had a set of wet tyres and passed the noise drive-by I probable would have continued.

Truly awful accident. My thoughts are with her family
So sad. Brave to do Goodwood without a full cage though.
Very sad indeed.
Thoughts go out to family and friends.
