Hi,

Has anyone got one of these? Is the signal reliable and sound any good?

thanks

Not personally, but John Bentley from the Gadget show reviewed it a couple of weeks ago

wireless FM transmitters are normally poor sound quality.

Sony make a DAB radio, if you want to swap th whole radio.

I have a Sony DAB headunit in my tintop, reception is good from an external aerial on the roof and from using it all over the UK it only goes wobbly at the junction of A19 & A690 due to loads of high voltage wires crossing over head at that point.

Same price as a normal CD/FM thing with tons of added channels, has aux input and powers my sub real good

Everyone should(will) have one imo!

I've got one, it's not as good as I'd hoped but hav'nt had a comparison with anything else to know how much better it could be. The transmitter side of it I dont bother with as it did'nt seem to work that well but it has an output to go directly into the aux input if you have one & that's how I use it. Reception is what i'd like to be better as I get a bit too much of the background "bubbling" but that's with the stick on arial on the inside of the screen, I do mean to get a better external arial to try & improve it.
There did'nt seem to be any proper car radios at the time that did both analogue & digital, digital coverage is'nt good enough yet & there's still a lot of stations I want on analogue.
