Cardiff Stag Do Recommendations?
FASTdan - 8/6/12 at 12:38 PM

So Im off on a stag do this weekend in Cardiff - anyone recommend good bars, 'stag do' type venues etc

Never been myself and not sure if anyone else going has either!! We're doing the Welsh Cider and Beer Fest tomorrow but will no doubt be on the town afterwards.

hey mate,

i've recently been there on a stag doo myself, don't go to the walkabout bar - absolute rubbish. We did a few good beers in Yates of all places (usually pretty awful) and we had no problem getting into any other place. Cardiff is an awesome night out you guys will love it. Some big clubs out there if thats your scene.

And as for the ladies.....

Hey Fast Dan,

Got some reccomendations for you!

Most of the bigger bars tend to be on st mary street. Some are absolutely awful and some are great! There are all the usual chain bars and some really good independent bars. There's a really good micro brewery opposite the millenium stadium called " zero degress " some quite interesting beers.
If you head to Mill lane there are some cool places serving interesting drinks!
Hope this helps.

GAGS.

Thanks for the info so far guys, sounds like Mary Street is the place to be then. Looking forward to it and the eye candy sounds promising eh Twin40?!

I went to uni in Cardiff and ended up living there for 7 years

The only thing I will recommend is that you experience Caroline Street (across the road from Walkabout) at 3 in the morning, sight to behold

Chip shop ally, that is a sight to see

Yeah like some of the others have said, stay on St Mary street and you can't go wrong really.
