Its done

Finally after almost 1 1/2 years, the chassis is finished. I couldn't weld the suspension brackets though as i don't have the shock absorbers but il just grind off the paint, weld them on and touch the paint back up when i have the funds
Im not sure how heavy it is but il try and weigh it tomorrow as im sure a few of you would like to know Judging by the feel i would say it is about 150% the weight of my diff (if anyone knows the weight of a jag diff)

my shocks, OD at the widest point (the spring) is 3".

yep, and they're the ones with 2.25" i.d springs, you can get narrower ones (1.9" i.d) but, i'd stick with the bigger ones for your sherman tank engine

The 2.88 lsd diff I had weighed in at 47kgs

So I flogged it to a friend who wanted to regear his E type!

I reccon then, my chassis must weigh about 70kg. Thats much less than i was expecting
