Big Thanks from GTS
Hi all,
Just like to thank everyone on the list for putting up with the ads etc that i post on here.
Also like to say a really big thanks to those of you who have become customers of ours over the years. I have met some really great people and become
good friends with them getting constant updates on their builds and stuff. This is what makes the effort worth while, and proves to me that by and
large the whole Locost scene is a very enthusiastic community of people that are all willing to help and support any fellow enthusiast.
I accidently started this venture purely to help provide this community with parts that they couldn't source themselves, then it extended to
being parts that they couldn't source cheaper and over the 5 years its expanded to where it is now which is quality without cost.
I'm sure we are no different to the other suppliers in terms of being a little unorganised etc, and often we deliver things a little late but
again its so very nice to have a group of customers like this that can appreciate the efforts made and are ever so patient and understanding.
One thing though that you as a community don't make enough use of with us is the fact that we are approachable and keen to help with things that
go beyond the scope of the products we offer on the website etc. I'm usually available to help, advise and chat every evening and at
weekends.

Kind regards,
Darren

Not an ad.
I had a couple of phone calls from customers yesterday and a visit, and we got talking about far more than what bits they were buying etc, and it just
prompted me to think how satisfying it can be sometimes to deal with people like that.
We had a bit of a tough week last week, and start to lose a bit of faith but was totally restored yesterday.
Kind regards,
Darren

Perhaps this is a good time to ask this then.. Now we've finally got our engine running and finished dicking around with it, we can start on the
chassis. I'd like to come over with mackie to talk to you and have a look at the de dion kit. Want to talk to you about, take measurements of
and buy various things.. like a 4" wider mounting de dion kit, wishbones (if the dimensions are right) those adjustable camber widgets, bodywork
(and talk about +4" stuff), maxi balljoints.. bushes.. I think there's more, that's just off the top of my head
What kind of times are good for visits? Weekdays only or would a saturday be ok? this coming saturday would be great..
And to others: I'll take a pile of pictures and dimensions and stuff (if that's ok with darren) for you others who are curious about the
bits.
cheers

Blueshaft eh? makes a change from the usual "blueshit" joke I suppose
I'll try and make it to the show, if I can work out where it is. Look forward to meeting you and your shiny things.
