Hi

All the above info is old and out of date.

The new owner is Steve Huckerby. All the details can be found under the new company name Aries motorsport.

However the cage was made from BK3 spec material in 45mm Dia by 2.5mm wall. I think it was actualy like most cages made in imperial sizes . So would actualy exceed those dimensions required. The latest FIA regulations which i presume you will be working with maybe would also want the cage mounting to be up to specification also. As far as i know that cage WILL also pass those requirements.

If it is of any help when designed by ST originally the cage was made to pass the regulations listed HERE under section [C(c)] Competitors saftey P156 onwards.

HTH Cheers Matt

It's a full racing STM cage.
If you needed to talk to the person who made it you could try contacting Ian Gray. He's now working on the classic 60s style racing car (nice but about 60k IIRC). Can't remember the name of it but there's a website with his contact details.
I've also got a mobile no for him but expect he might have changed it from years ago.
He might be able to put you in contact with the person who fabricated it. I know at one point their chassis were made by Caged. Not sure re the cages though...

Hi

Caged only ever made the later round tube Phoenix chassis for Ian. The Locost chassis and cages as in the above pics where made by the same manufacturer. The specs are as ive stated above.

Cheers Matt
