chassis size

Hi
I have a spare westfield narrow chasis body tub and was wondering if anyone knew if this would fit another chassis. I believe the book chassis is bigger. Any help for this newbie to your site would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Welcome to the mad house fella,

The book is 42" wide, try setting the tub you have so the sections under where your elbows would sit are parallel then measure the distance between the insides of the fibreglass.

Thanks, will try that, I am hoping to find a chassis that fits my body to build a track day car as I am ok with the mechanicals but don't want to get into cutting and shaping the body. Budget is a big factor so hoping I can use my tub.

Just measured and I make it 37" to the inside and 40" to the outsideof the body.
