I would suggest you buy "The (new) book"
This should be a good basis and reference for your 7 alike project.

BTW welcome aboard and the search is quite good too

I assume you are building a locost? book built chassis?
I converted my robin hood and locost before the book came out.
I made a rectangular cage for the diff to sit in then used sierra rear hubs and drums, alligned the wheels with the fronts then made outriggers to back plates on the hub and used the robin hood wishbone kit.
for more info u2u me if you like.

Hi and welcome. As mentione get the new book as its got all the plans for the IRS setup. I prefer the look of the locost chassis as the new book chassis is alot bigger. but i am sure you will have no issues in converting it to IRS.

All the best

Rob

Check out Matt who trades as Cassavara (sp?) on Ebay. He makes complete rear ends.
He was the leading light and fabricator for the old Luego, so he knows what he is doing.
He usually sells wishbones on Ebay.
