RS2000/Capri upright v standard escort

Can any one clarify this:-

Just been told that the RS2000 and capri uprights are identical (geometry wise) to a standard escort apart from the spigot is 31mm higher???

i have rs2000 uprights on my striker. you need to make sure you get rs TRE's as the balljoint taper is different to other mk2's.
