Calipers and Granada columns.

My M16 calipers have been stripped and stood for a while. What is the best way to remove the light surface rust in the internal tubes of the calipers?

Has anyone fitted a granada colapsible column(f reg)?

I think chester sports cars use the granada column in the tiger cat.
