Full Rollcage at IVA time

What is the preferred fixing method for a full rollcage for IVA. Is it better to go fully welded or just bolt in the frame and then cover the bolts? Has anyone had any experience of this and are there any other look outs for a full cage at IVA time?

Mine was bolted in for SVA and was no problem at all. Some people say leave it off, as you don't need it so...

Button head allen bolts (10.9) all around. Some of the rear ones were covered by the bodywork.

No problems from the chaps in Leighton Buzzard (and those boys like their sharp edges).
