How heavy is a Haynes roadster chassis?
As the title says, i just wondered if anyone knows roughly how heavy a Haynes roadster chassis weighs.

55-65kg depending on wether you make it from 1.6mm or 2mm wall tube and what ever else has been added to it.

Cheers, i'm off to fetch my chassis after the weekend, and thought i'd best check how heavy it was before i head off

Well a locost chassis with a 1.6mm ali floor and all the suspension and brackets etc weighs in at around 90kg

took my mk chassis home on a normal car roof rack and never noticed any effect on the cars performance
Fame is when your old car is plastered all over the internet

I'd be interested to know what all the different chassis weigh; just as a benchmark for the MM Paradigm you see.
Worth a new thread maybe?

Yeah it'd be good for everyone to have a reference thread i think.
My powder coated Mac#1 Worx chassis with all suspension brackets, engine cradle and roll bar weighed in at 70.5kg
