Placement if diagonals
How are the 19x19 diagonals placed within the 25x25 sections? Are they positioned centrally, or offset to the outside or inside of the larger
sections?

Centre usually, but if you are attaching panels, on the panel side so you can rivet to it.

Do many people panel out internally within the cockpit to finish it off? Thinking thin Ali would finish the seating area off nicely?

After all that I got a bit carried away with myself and cut the diagonals that go from the pedal box back into the car out of 25x25!!
Other than the increase in weight is there any issue with this. Happy to leave as us if there is no reason to change it.

There is nothing wrong with using 25 x 25.

Cheers guys will leave them as is and complete the balance with 19x19.
Just looking at the rear assembly drawings and am struggling to make sense if them. Looks like the most complicated section of the chassis by a long
way.
Can I fully weld the chassis up to the seat backs before I move onto the rear assembly or should the complete chassis be tacd before welding.
The drawings are not all that great. They could have done with far more reference dimensions on the rear section and diagonals. Especialy d8 & d9.
They don't tell u what way round they should go. Hope I have gone the correct way
