Fury Duratec sump clearance

Hi All

I was measuring up tonight and have managed to make myself paranoid. I have 70mm between the bottom of the chassis rail and the bottom of the sump.

Can anyone with a fury let me know what sort of range they have between chassis rail and sump bottom. I'm fairly sure that will give me adequate ground clearance, but if i have to chop engine mounts, now is the time.

Thanks
M

More important is bottom of sump to ground when fully loaded

Of course, but until I get the car off the lifts and onto the ground, I don't have much of a datum to the floor to work with.

I'm fairly sure it's about 1" further off the ground than my pinto, but on a stock fury knowing what sump to chassis rail setup someone has will give me some reassurance.

I have the opportunity to recut the engine mounts and gain about an inch, but I would rather keep the COG as low as possible.

Thanks - seems like I got it right. It was so long since I did this work that I got to second-guessing myself last night.

My Fury has an underslung exhaust made of random bits of pipe held together by a multitude of clamps. At its lowest point I have a ground clearance on 37mm. I try to avoid speed bumps.
