16 swg in mm?

Anyone know how thick in mm 16 swg should be?

It's easy to remember this conversion!

16swg = 1.6mm = 1/16"

Pure coincidence, but a useful thing to remember...

I've now updated my web sites all new Reference section to include a similar SWG table. If anyone's interested in having a peek it's at http://www.chris.renney.dsl.pipex.com/ref.htm

Oh, and if anyones got any suggestions for additional content, please let me know.

i got told in a recent thread that its not as simple as the 1/x thing, but that is certainly a good approximation. There are many different gauges...
