As you are in Lincoln, not too far south from you in Spalding / Pinchbeck is Laserfab (part of Gutridge Engineering).
Not used them for laser work myself, as my company has our own laser workshop, but I have heard good things about Laserfab.

What sort of ball park prices do these companies charge? I need to make 4 mild steel thin quarter panels plus up to 6 smaller trim bits to skin the
wood frame on my MG TC. I can buy the steel off e-bay and cut them myself with a saw using the ond rusty ones as templates, or I guess that I could
get them water cut.
Its not a huge job to cut them myself, but if its not too much to get them water cut, I might go that route to save the job and get a neater finish
(plus I guess that there will be a small saving in the unit cost of their steel stock that would off-set their price for the job a little bit).

My experience is 50 quid set up charge, plus material, plus a repeating cost per part is about normal.

I've got a manual plasma that would do that job nicely. If you have drawings , worlds your oyster.

water jet cutting
Just had a very good job done by this company http://www.sussexstone.co.uk/ Based in East Sussex not far from Heathfield.
They cut cailiper mounting brackets as well as other bits and pieces. Just had to supply a DXF file with drawings, very helpful people
