which one to choose
Which one should I choose? there's too much choice.
1) I don't want to fabricate anything
2) I want it to be cheap
3) I want it all to fit together easily enough
what are the advantages of the MK indy vs luego vs GTS?
what are the advantages of different types of rear axle, eg de-dion, IRS etc
part of the reason I want a cheap kit is that I want the rest of the cash for a bike engine. which kits offer the easiest bike engine
installation?
can one be built without a side exhaust?
Sorry for the number of questions. all opinions welcome.

one more question. In reality, what is the likely cost of an SVA approved car once all the required subdries have been added to the
'delux' kit and donor(s)?

All three can be put on the road for under 5k with some serious bargain hunting.
You don't need to do any fabricating with any of them.

Yes, but... Since the cars are flat bottom, you'd have to decide if you're comfortable having the exhaust be the lowest part of the car,
leaving only 3" or so of clearance.
Or the frame could be modified to run the pipe up inside the chassis to maintain ground clearance, but then that'll take extra work.
You can do anything you want on these cars, that's part of the attraction.

I would consider where you live and give serious consideration to buying from the closest one - it makes it easier when you want to buy more stuff or
go ask some questions.

Im building a GTS, well impressed with the quality, and so far it has cost me about £3.5k (including most of the tools needed) - im aiming to get it
on the road for ~£5k. the only corner i am really cutting to keep costs down is the engine, which i hope to upgrade next winter.
like mark says, the distance from home might be an issue, but darren posts me any bits i dont/ cant collect.
i reckon the best idea (if you can) is to go visit the various setups, and decide which one you like the best.
