SSC chassis conundrum
HI All
ive been looking at the SSC MX5 chassis conversion drawings for the original locost chassis . The whole thing looks quite comprehensive but one thing
has me stumped . There are several diagrams for different chassis peices that are given numbers like U1 and U2 but i cant find an overall diagram that
shows where thes parts are supposed to go . Ive looked at the original locost plans but they dont seem to match up
Cheers

I am almost certain that you will need to use the SSC mx5 plans in conjunction with the book.
The book I refer to is: the Haynes publication. " Build your own sports car on a budget " , written by Chris Gibbs.
I suspect you may be looking at the original Ron Champion book.
afaik
The Haynes/Gibbs book is now out of print.
You may be lucky & find a used one on the net.

Good find
Yes, that's the main chassis diagram that will help you make sense of the SSC alterations.
Hope your build goes well.
