Roll bar height

How high above tube O have you guys been building the roll bar for a road car....

Once I get the bar built, I am ready to prime and paint the chassis....

I sat in the seat & measured to the top of my head, estimated how extra I needed for a helmet, then added a couple of inches...

Imagine dropping the car, with you in it, upside down. The idea is to keep the top of your head from touching the ground. The general idea is to draw a line from the front edge of the car (where it might get crunched down to, to the top of the roll bar. You want that line to miss your head by a few inches.
