Seats

Hi!

I didn't find a better group for this question...

Are ordniary car seats too high for a Locost? It would be convenient to put a pair of good racing seats in it. What type of seats are you using?

Best regards,

Plan on using a pair of Cobra Roadster 7 seats. £120 each is the downside. Height isn't too much of an issue, more the width. I have a max of 17.5 inches per side.

Can you buy aftermarket seats that fit the standard build width? do the bedford van/suzuki seats fit? Or do I have to sit on skinny solid plastic?

I did the same as btb mine cost £20,i've extended the seat bits bottoms to give a better knee support.
Vinyl cost me £20 , lush yellow piping was £10 and the missus skinned me for £5 for the thread, needles for the sewing machine etc, although she is providing the labour for free

All in cost for 2 decent seats at @ £55 for the pair

go on you know it makes sense
