Reinforcement required?

Gents,

I've posted a drawing of my rear subframe, and would like a bit of advice.

I have put the red ring, highlighting area under forward w/bone bracket, what do you reckon.

The s/frame is 2" x 1" 16swg. Rest of chassis 1".

Thanks and a jolly happy Christmas to you all.

May you all be on the road next year!!

Simon, it doesn't cry out to me as an obvious case for gussetting, but OTH it certainly can't hurt for the sake of a few ounces.

So why not do it I'd say.

Alan,

My thoughts exactly. There will be a reasonable amount of power, so think it would be wise.

Have a good Christmas Alan.
