new build

Hi 7/7/5 was the start date of my build got 75% of the chassis built up ,but is it just me or is the book a little crap in certain areas.Have found that one or two of the measurments are wrong ,is it all critical or open to interpritation.Any advise would be nice.

don't worry about it, if your 75% built than at that stage you can cut the bars too suit rather than as per book, my best bit of advice would be, use the book for inspiration but its not gospel.

Deffently treat the book just as a guide, as you progress in the build you tend to use it less and less.

If you want more accurate dimensions then try the McSorley plans

The only down side with McSorley's plans is that they don't include the transmission tunnel IIRC.
