Query: Brake pipe mounting.
Hi everyone.
Got engine running last night! I'm now at the stage where i need to do the SVA tidy up, and my first issue is one of holding the brake pipes
secure.
My plan is to put a rubber strip on the bottom chassis rail, then tie-grip the pipes onto the strip at regular intervals. This is quicker and easier
than p clips.
Do you think this would pass the SVA?
Thanks in advance,
Mark (getting excited now!)

I'm not sure I understand what you're proposing.
However, this is one area where it's better to go OTT in your efforts, to convince the tester that they are well and truly fixed, rather than leaving
them 'iffy'.
The same goes for the fuel pipe and wiring loom - firmly fixed and kept apart.
