I have used Re-Jenolite coach paint from halfords for both of mine with no ill effects.

One 6.99 tin will paint a chassis if brushing it on.
I brush painted in the coners and awkward areas first then i used a mini roller cut down to just over an inch wide and it makes it a much quicker job to do.

Its tough and has resisted spanner dings etc ok so far.

Re-Jenolite:
Does it need primer, or can you just paint it straight on?
