tunnel height

What height has everyone made their tunnels?
The book sizes seem very high when stiched in place.

depending on how far back you get the gearbox the height is needed, especially once you get the brake/fuel lines in etc

250mm from floorpan to top rail (roughly book size?)
I'm not sure I could get away with much lower at the front with the remote gearchange assembly, but there is certainly plenty clearance at the rear, although I am using the sierra axle, so no up/down movement to worry about (hopefully )

Cheers

Alex

I made mine an inch higher than the book. Means I can fit the gear lever remote under the tunnel top. Looks much neater.
