Locost Suspension variations and race scrutinering

Hi,
I have just started the process of building a locost having picked up a second hand chassis built to 'book' dims.

Looking on the internet Daniels Engineering appears to make an exact book copy for sale and GTS make a 'book dims' front suspension but use oval tube and a Maxi ball joint instead of cortina.

Has anyone experience of if the GPS design, including the camber adjust system of their upper arm will pass MSA locost race scrutinering?

Paul

Hi Paul,

I think the design you describe would be ok as there are cars out there with a fairly wide variety of wishbone geometries.

The safest thing is to ring or email the 750 motor club and get them to check with the scrutineers. You'll find the details on www.750mc.co.uk. It may take a little while to get a proper reply though.
