which paint

if so was in any good and does any recomend any paint for the Frame?

The black chassis paint is popular (3rd from the bottom). Not tried it myself though.

Chassis black, as recommended to me by several members of this forum. Designed for the job. However you will find it less than half the price from a local paint factors. My stuff was £6/litre.

Sprays nicely as well if you have a spray gun. But you also get great results with a brush.

Too late for you but when it comes around again Aldi had some black, silver or dark green metal paint in a couple of weeks ago called King Colour metal care paint. I snagged a silver and a black about £4 a litre tin and it dries pretty quick and smooth. It's much easier to use than Hammerite.

I ve used Tractor or Trailer paint from my local Agri Factors, Its good stuff, and Pig Pee resistant too. Works great on my Land Rover.

I've just got to ask....

Do you get many pigs peeing in your Land Rover Geoff?
