asjustable ride height
I would like to know how the asjustable driving height is working in those new supercars as the veyron, lambo gallardo and probably some other.
I've been looking for similar systems for a long time but without success.

not too sure, but i would think something along the lines of a hydraulic shocker + pump and a small res, some merc estates have a system like that to
raise and lower the backend.. i have a couple of the shocks in my garage, i was gonna have a play with them one day, but chances are they will just
gather dust for a number of years and eventually get binned

the merc setup is pneumatic like citroen used to have (atleast on the e class it is)

I would assume though that these ride height adjusters are "get you over that speedbump" only, as any adjustment of ride height will
generally affect suspension settings like camber etc.

I have considered this option as well. If going withinboard shockers on the front the base of the shocks to be made to be movable via a small gear
motor or possible air/hydrolic.
I supose the same could be set up for the rear but if its only to clear the sump on large speed bumps then the front would probably surfise.

It seems it's mainly used on Pickups,SUVs, MPVs,... but I think it could be used in other situations.
I've been reading on some Audi pages and they are speaking about air suspensions on their more expensive models.
Bugatti and Lamborgini are part of VAG and therefore I think those adjustable suspensions are some kind of air suspensions
