Anyone know where I can get hold of some suitable ali for putting a floor in?

For the floor I would suggest that you use NS4 16swg aluminium. This is an alloy and a lot tougher than pure aluminium.

You will probably find a local supplier in your Yellow Pages under Non Ferrous Metal Stockholders.

Go to the supplier and ask if you can buy a sheet of 1.6mm scrap ali. Got my last sheet for £12 delivered. It only had a couple of dents on the edges where it had been wrapped too tight. Easy to beat out.
