Poly bushes

Can you make your own poly bushes? I have a lathe so I guess it would be just a question of getting the right material. I'd appreciate any info.

I think you can but I think you mold them. I guess you might be able to turn some up but you may have the freeze the material first?

For material

nylon66 is one option, but there are plenty others for different hardnesses

My understanding is that they are not that easy to machine as the plastic rips.
